gofastclint Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 I would like this post to be about finding products to do with flying for a really good price. The kind of deals you hear about after they are finished and feel annoyed for missing them. So if you know of any good deals getting round, add them on this post. For example: Product Price Location/Website Rotax 582 gasket kit, $20 www. this is only an example .com And If anyone see a product that is on this post and knows of where you can get it cheaper, please feel free to quote the previous post and enter the details of the better deal bellow that. Paying less for something is always better, so lets all help each others pockets with a little team work.
Guest brentc Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 Looking for the best value new ELT as I haven't got one yet if anyone wants to set the ball rolling! (Note to management I haven't looked at any sites whatsoever yet so it's open at this stage to the lowest of course)
wanabigaplane Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 epirb info For a good market appraisal see posting in GPS Australia. GPS Australia - EPIRB - 406Mhz Emergency Beacon compare (PLB) Jack.:):)
Admin Posted March 15, 2009 Posted March 15, 2009 This thread is a great idea - if anyone needs something then get the best price you can and post it here. I can then approach the distributors through Clear Prop to get it for that price or even cheaper for you - you get it at the cheapest price and the proceeds go towards running this site. The price you post would need to be able to be verified though otherwise the thread just becomes a wish list that no one can believe
tangocharlie123 Posted March 16, 2009 Posted March 16, 2009 RE ClearProp Ian this is fine that you can aproach the suppliers for a better price. But you need to follow up with the person wishing to purchase from you or they will just go looking elsewhere.

I know mate - I am really slack on that which I am very sorry for, but the shop has always been a lower priority then the site itself however, that is no excuse - I will lift my game and try and spend more time on the shop and its customers - I promise! Hopefully I get my PC back today after not having it for 2 and half weeks and just trying to do everything on a old and very slow laptop - this should give me at least 50% more time
gofastclint Posted March 17, 2009 Author Posted March 17, 2009 sounds like you need to take on some dedicated staff to run the store. Maybe someone who is retired and can offer a few hours a week, so you can keep on top of it.
