Just wanted to say G'day to everyone out there and introduce myself to the group. My name is Ben, 32, from the Jervis Bay area. Have only done about 15 hours on a Gazelle, solo for about 3 of those. I am building an Evans VP1, sorry to the purists but it has a 582 and modified fuselage ! I would welcome any correspondence from any other VP owners out there.002_wave.gif.62d5c7a07e46b2ae47f4cd2e61a0c301.gif

Welcome

Regardless. They say a person who never made a mistake never made anything. (I'm joking of course.) Good luck Nev

G`Day Ben and 098_welcome.gif.81ff07d492568199326e4f64f78d7bc6.gif,

How`s the Gazelle to handle and fly?

A few years ago,one of the local aero clubs was using a Gazelle for training, out of the Cairns aerodrome,I don`t know if it`s true but I heard they got rid of it because they couldn`t handle it on the ground.

Cheers,

Frank.

Thanks guys, the Gazelle seems quite easy to handle, but it is the only full size aircraft I have flown so have nothing to compare it too !! I will try to get some photos of my project on here soon.
