Admin Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 Doug, you really should read the news more often Mate - the 6:20pm (Melb time) news yesterday : http://www.recreationalflying.com/forum/recreational-aviation-news/27721-exclusive-video-first-flight-terrafugia-transition-roadable-aircraft.html
Guest watto Posted March 18, 2009 Posted March 18, 2009 well its a bit of a breakthough, ugly as sin though but what the hell you cannot have verything at once I guess hahaha. I wonder how it will be recieved, will you still need to drive to the strip to launch it or can you simply find a nice straight stretch of road and blast off?

Guest watto Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Well sir we are trying to work out what category this will fit into on your policy, were the wheels on the ground at the time you impacted the other vehicle? hehe
Guest drizzt1978 Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Great in bad traffic if you can get into a wide emergency lane, or grass next to the road......

My excuse was I was visiting my wife in hospital who has just had new boobs constructed, successfully, after a bout of breast cancer. Happy to say, she's now back home with me and the 'twins' are doing fine ;)
