red750 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Hi pmccarthy, I'll give you that one. I have it listed as the HAL HA-31 Mk1 of which only the prototype above was constructed. The book I'm working from does not mention "Revathi" . You should also be able to0 get this one:
planedriver Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Some of you blokes in Vermont have too much spare time. Was very near you last weekend, should have PM'd you to come and say G'day, but with the weather, I can understand you doing what you do:oh yeah: Keep it up mate, it beats cutting the grass in the rain. Kind Regards Planey
red750 Posted May 19, 2015 Posted May 19, 2015 Sorry fella's. Quite likely based very much on the Norseman, but this is a one-off prototype, of which this is believed to be the only known photograph. There are a few differences from the Norseman, eg tail is more rounded, like an Otter, and the front u/c stub winglets have no anhedral.
planedriver Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Sure looks like a Norseman to me, Canadian? Any clues please so I can get some sleep.
red750 Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 It is the prototype of the Hindustan Aeronautics Limited HCP-25. No further units were produced. 1
Kununurra Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Was the give away clue J160 in your profile a hint ? Pioneer 200
kasper Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Ok - apologies to the forum member for blatantly ripping off the picture from the web but here is another one ... name of plane, pilot/builder and location please
Head in the clouds Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 It's Arthur Amour's Stollite but I don't know where ...
planedriver Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 The Oaks, I think, not that it has been around there for quite a few years.
kasper Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Drats! Yep, Arthur at The Oaks in the Stolite ... in 1999 for the full set of statistics. I'll try harder next time ...
red750 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 Daniel Beltrame's Aerogallo Flying Rooster homebuilt from Italy. See video:
dazza 38 Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 try this one. IMO this is the ugliest airplane I have seen, I read about it a few years ago in a magazine ( a real magazine not a electronic version ). 1
planedriver Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 I got that one wrong Red. I thought it was a KFC 1 2
red750 Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Not an RV. Maybe an RV rip-off, perhaps, or under licence, but not an RV.
red750 Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 Disregard previous post, I'll have to research things a bit better. The article I read heralded "First Phillipino-made plane sold." The article did not mention they "assembled" Vans aircraft. Further research proved otherwise. The article had it as a "Famous-Secret-Precision-Machining Inc RP-S 12". Sorry, my bad.

There is a company there who assemble the Vans kits to the quick build stage. Probably the same mob.
