Guest AusDarren Posted October 31, 2006 Posted October 31, 2006 The Pancake Breakfast At 'Ardmona International' This is a highlight of the Shepparton Aero Club's events. Last year was very well attended by pilots from all over Victoria. This Year Promises To Be Bigger And Better Than Ever... We Expect 100 Planes To Attend! Why Not Fly In & Join Us? http://www.goulburnvalleyaeroclub.com/pancakebreakfast.html AusDarren
Guest pelorus32 Posted November 13, 2006 Posted November 13, 2006 A great breakfast, lots of good people and a superb venue provided by Roger Lenne. It was unfortunately a bit wet with a major trough giving low cloud and high humidity with rain. I think this limited the number of attendees. The biggest a/c there was Bill Bristow's PC12 which made an impressive sight arriving on the strip at Ardmona International. I think he said 3 hours 15 minjutes from Archerfiled at FL250 and planning to go back at FL300 on reduced power so they didn't need a refuel. A great event and good fundraising for Angel Flight. Goulburn Valley Aero Club's organisational and cooking skills came to the fore once more. Regards Mike PS: GVAC won their comps day against RVAC on the Saturday as well. Lots of action in the Tecnam and the Gazelle.
