Howtoflyonline.com. Worth $20?

Hello all Aviatiors,

 

I had a question regarding a sight called howtoflyonline.com. It's claim is basically that it's a low-cost flight instructor type of thing. Do you think its worth US$20 and will be beneficial? Anyone had any experience with these online flight training courses??

you will find the RAAus site has quite a lot of stuff there that will basically get you up to your licence level, all for free. flight briefings and theory kind of stuff.

TopGun, he is very experienced and his advice is spot on.

 

What you could also consider, which I did, is to save up a few dollars, go to your nearest flying school and get an instructor to take you up in the cheapest aircraft. Your money may get you a 15 minute circuit, 20 minutes or more, and I guarantee you that later in life it will be those flights which have the noise, smell and feel that you'll look back on.
