rankamateur Posted April 1, 2009 Posted April 1, 2009 I got this email from Reg at www.aerokits.net.au, it is the first confirmation that the Savannah XL has cleared the last hurdle on the way to Natfly 2009: Hello All, Six and a half weeks from the time AeroKits...opened the box, the first finished Savannah XL VG in Australia is inspected and ready to fly in time to be at NatFly over Easter. My gratefull thanks to all who have contributed their time and effort in helping this happen. Reg Brost AeroKits... www.aerokits.net.au
rankamateur Posted April 3, 2009 Author Posted April 3, 2009 Savannah XL First Australian Landing I took this video yesterday down on my airstrip, first landing of the savannah XL on Australian soil. The approach was a bit tentitive because some of the fresh cow-pats were fairly obvious, it would have got christened eventually, that new paint is easy to wash anyway! PS Uploaded video only works on my computer, Sorry, I will have to put it on Youtube instead. Try clicking view slideshow after it loads. Savannah XL.ppt Savannah XL.ppt Savannah XL.ppt
Ron Hoey Posted April 5, 2009 Posted April 5, 2009 Congratulations Reg, it looks like a beauty. I look forward to seeing it at NatFly. Ron.
rankamateur Posted April 5, 2009 Author Posted April 5, 2009 How is your XL coming along Ron, have you got a photo posted yet? Will it be at Narromine this year or next year? Steve H
