Guest basscheffers Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 I thought i have seen some RV 6's that are RA Aus??? not GA?? At 435KG empty, maybe there are some with one seat removed, a small pilot and a little bit of fuel.
Guest drizzt1978 Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Hmmmmm, maybe I had by Rose Colored glasses on!!! I will keep my eyes peeled but It probably wasnt an Rv that i had seen!
Guest brentc Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Not aware of any RV6's that are RA-Aus just yet, but my eyes and ears are open! A couple of RV's are being built down our way. The 9a would be a great option but not until 760 comes along. It stalls a fair bit slower than RV7a and takes off in around 100 metres. The J430 is definitely high on the list if you're talking about throwing some kids in the back. One forum member on here throws his 3 kids in the back with no dramas, but of course he is GA. You won't get a BRAND NEW 3.5 - 4.0 seater that does 120 knots for less than $80k so it's a good deal and it's why I own one. If you're worried about GA, don't be. Remember to start off you can start without the CTA endorsement which will get you up and running quickly, but that's a conversation for another thread. Perhaps a question can be asked on this forum for anyone in Vic building a Jab to put their hand up so Adrian can come and have a look, rather than travel to Bundaberg?
Adrian Lewer Posted April 16, 2009 Author Posted April 16, 2009  thanks brent. would love to see a Jab being built if anyone is building one ;)
