Tomo Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 Well I thought it's probably time to update you all on my training progress... I've now got about 12hrs or so up in the Drifter, and basically all I'm doing now is slowly but surely getting better at landing the thing (I think), apparently I'm flying the acft well, which is good to know... just got to get these landing a bit more consistent I reckon. Everything is definitely slipping slowly into place; radio calls, all the checks, etc... It did just dawn on me today when coming into land that I am actually controlling this thing and have got to get us on the ground in nice form... the instructor's still there, yes, but it pretty much depends on me now to do the right thing... a bit daunting really... So yeah, that's about it... I'm still enjoying every bit of it... Happy flying....
ahlocks Posted April 7, 2009 Posted April 7, 2009 .... and have got to get us on the ground in nice form. Now there's an interesting comment that indicates good progress to me Tomo. You're searching for "nice form" rather than worring about how, or if, you can get it down. Keep up the good work. Cheers!
