Somewhat different to my Narromine memories.

Tip for everyone for next time. Follow my lead and erect your tent on the high ground. Not a drop of water inside the tent once you negotiated the moat.

I note that a long time has elapsed and no one has owned up to it..........

Seems like a good place to put mine. Thanks Rob - did I say hi to you? I don't remember seeing you. If not - sorry.

I got home today after being first in line for fuel at 6am, then waiting until 9 for the council to come out and restore power to the bowser and swipe machine. Garry brought me breakfast to eat while in line.

Had to divert to Bathurst and flew there on top, then went under the rest of the way - through a little rain here and there but around most of it. Cloud was quite low too. Good fun flying though. Still under 2 hours despite the diversion. 3 Layers of cloud all the way with some magnificent views of Cu's punching through the lot.

Great event and caught up with a lot of people, and kept a dry tent. Thanks to all those who said hi.

On with the pics. I only got the camera out once after arrival, so not many.

For those that didn't notice this, it's a J250.

Owner was quoting around 37 knots stall at 544 kg's. This is the candidate for going over 600kg's in a Jab once the 760kg comes along in the next year or two. As for what the MTOW will be at 45 knots, I'm not sure, perhaps very close to 760.

This particular machine is fitted with front seat backs that fold forward to allow two persons to sleep in it comfortably. (tinted windows would be nice which it didn't have. Either that or curtains :-)
