Guest 22bravo Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 I had a Luscombe in the 60's (1822B), then a flying club Cherokee, then dropped out. Now I hang around the airport some, waiting for funds to drop from the sky so I can build something. I'd really like a pusher...
winsor68 Posted April 23, 2009 Posted April 23, 2009 Welcome to the forums...What sort of pusher were you thinking?
Guest 22bravo Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 pushers My first choice would be the Earthstar Odyssey (Earthstar Aircraft) - I've had a chance to fly one and it combines a great view with side-by-side seating with good performance/4-cycle/35 mpg. Nice slower craft include the single-seat Earthstar Soaring Gull, the Chinook Plus 2. The Titan line is good too.
Guest Maj Millard Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 Hey I flew out of Petaluma for a couple of years in the early 90s, after we had to leave Liberty Field. Had a little homebuilt Albatros C1 replica that I bought back to Ausyralia with me. Is the UL club still active there ?....You may know some of my old flying friends......Cheers Ross Millard aka: Loulhoffen Von Lowensprung.

Guest 22bravo Posted April 24, 2009 Posted April 24, 2009 yes What a coincidence! I just made contact with the Liberty Fliers two months ago, and have gone out flying to the coastline with them in Les Goldner's CH701. Fun to go as a loose group- I never flew that way. (He is at [email protected] -- they have a Yahoo group you could join)
farri Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 You sound like you've been everywhere Maj... Yeah,Tomo, He`s even been here to Deeral. Cheers, Frank.
Guest Maj Millard Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Yes the Major has been lucky enough to get around a bit, but landing at Frank's place at Deeral was the highlight so far !!!!........................................
