Guest sandyt Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 Hi Ian, I used fly for work (flying electrician) out of Darwin, mainly 182's, 210's etc. Left Darwin in 1992 for northern NSW and haven't flown since. I retired in march and now find the field of rec. av. interesting. Was at Lismore today for Anzac Day do at the airfield with a couple of warbirds. Talked to the CFI of the local aero club and the cost of getting back into "the seat" seems very reasonable. Thats it for now, stay safe. Sandy
Tomo Posted April 25, 2009 Posted April 25, 2009 G'day Sandy and Welcome on board... The Flying Electrician hey, that would have been a pretty good job:big_grin: Rec flying is certainly a way to go if you like to fly, rather than spend all the money in one hit... Have Fun and Fly safe:big_grin:
