Guest Brett Campany Posted April 26, 2009 Posted April 26, 2009 Well I've never played X-Plane before so I really had no idea to expect but I have to say the X-Plane App from the iTunes Store for my iPhone was pretty impressive! You get the choice of 6 regions. Innsbruck, Austria Hawaii Boswell Bay, Alaska Southern Califonia San Fransisco & Desert Sky, California With 6 aircraft to play with, there's no getting bored! Cessna 172, Columbia 400, Piper Malibu, Cirrus Vision, Piaggio Avanti and a Beech King-Air Playing the game can take a bit of getting used to as it uses the iPhone's Accelerometer to move the aircraft around and there's settings to change the way it moves so you can suit it to how you want it to work. The are you get to fly in is of decent size a couple of other airports to go and land at. At the end of the day, it's something fun to use while you're on a train or bus or at the office with nothing to do. I've just recently purchased a Mac and will be testing the full version of X-Plane 9 in the near future! Check out the X-Plane 9 website here http://www.x-plane.com
