that plane looks so similar to mine, even the regos are close (3913 &3914). for a moment I thought that was photo of my aircraft. must have been a genetic clone VC ;)

Why fly a bushplane?

 

Campsite and "airstrip" on way home from Avalon 2009. It's at the junction of the Murrumbidgee with the Murray, near Boundary Bend.

Balloon reflection

 

This shot was taken August 2008 from a hot air balloon in the Avon Valley Northam Western Australia. The reflection is from a branch of the Avon River near Spencer's Brook for anyone who knows the area. The basket is the dark rectangle shape centre of the balloon and accommodates 20 people plus the pilot, all standing up. The pilot positions everyone where he wants them grading from light weight people in the centre to heavy weights on the outside. How do I know this?....... He placed me on the outside:laugh:

Nothing really exceptional about the shots until you consider that they were taken by a sales rep

 

holding one of these on his lap.

Your shot looks great, yet if I took that shot it would just look bland and like a brown pussy in front of some blue sky with a bit of white stuff in it.

Yep, no skill at all! just pushing the button and watching it do the rest....

 

A bit like those EC145 Helicopters! apparently all you do to land is push the landing button, and watch it land itself!! Great peices of engineering if you ask me!
