28-482 still around?

Anybody know of an Avid shortwing rego 28-482 still flying? I helped my dad build it a few years ago. Was a great little machine, was a bit cramped though. I'm 5' 14.5" or 188cm and it was very cramped.

I have an Avid... Although mine isnt the one in question I will try and find out for you.!

 

Where was this one orginally located.?

 

There are a few Avids around, not sure how many are still flying today.

 

I know of some located in Victoria ~ Tyabb, Hamilton, Cobden & Gippsland Area and one in Wedderburn (NSW).

The Avid was down the coast somewhere, north coast of NSW. It was red with white and black stripes. Dad's Kitten went down Tyabb way, it was red, white and black as well, I think Rusty was the blokes name that bought it.

G'Day 'Cecil?'The short wing Avid was living near Bellingen last I heard of it.I helped teach the guy who got it off your dad and found it a great little cruiser!A bit cramped, but I'm only 5' 12" I did hear a rumour it was going to be fitted with a 2.2 Jab motor.Can't find my photo of it.
