Guest Brett Campany Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Hey guys, I'm really having some issues with calculating fuel endurance for individual legs. I just can't get my figure right and I have a feeling I might have been shown something that is incorrect. Can anyone put down a formula in black and white so I can check my figures? Cheers
Guest Brett Campany Posted May 17, 2009 Posted May 17, 2009 Disregard!! I've finally realized where I was going wrong and yes, it was me not paying attention! For those who come across this thread for the same problem: Fuel Required = Sub Total of Cruiser / Climb / Alternate + Fixed Reserve / Holding / Taxi Fuel Margin = Endurance - Fuel Required Endurance = Fuel Margin (previous leg) + Reserve Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's it. And that's for working out in minutes. Then calculate for volume after that. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong though!
