Dave Daniel Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 Hi, Dave here Just got back in the saddle after 2 years not flying, and a relocation to Perth from the UK. 26 hours in a Thruster T600N Sprint, 40 mins in a tiger moth and I was within a whisker of my UK NPPL. Now I'm after a RA Aus pilot cert so hopefully I can get some credit for my previous hours . I've discovered flying is like riding a bike... if you haven't done it for a while you get a bit wobbly . Still great fun though!! The guys at Bindoon might have their work cut out getting me back into shape...
Guest Brett Campany Posted May 28, 2009 Posted May 28, 2009 G'day Dave, good to see another Sandgropper on board! How's things going up at Bindoon Abandoned?
Dave Daniel Posted May 30, 2009 Author Posted May 30, 2009 Seems good, I've only been up there the once. It adds a bit of excitement with a Gyro or two in the circuit!
Renaissance Man Posted May 30, 2009 Posted May 30, 2009 G'day Dave and welcome. Sounds like an interesting circuit pattern over there at Bindoon... !! Bit of variety to keep you on your toes. Anyway mate welcome to the site. Chris.
Guest mike_perth Posted May 31, 2009 Posted May 31, 2009 Welcome Dave As Brett said nice to see some more West Aussies on the forums - That makes two in one day! Another forum member Cossy has joined and he also intends to fly out of Bindoon when the heavens align for him! Happy flying Mike
