The glider achieved numerous short hops into the air.

 

 

 

Unfortunately, the glider became a casualty of Hurricane Katrina never having realized its full potential.

Looking at the elevator, which seems to be full up most of the time, it seems to me that the speed was too low and he was just pulling it into the air and then stalling.

 

Scary stuff.

Yeah - he was probably very lucky that he didn't actually get it to fly - that might've been REAL scary :hittinghead: ......
