slartibartfast Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 Ooh - that'll do Donkey Last day to get your entries in this month. It's a bit light on too. I think we can blame the winter, but it would be great to see more entries next month.

planedriver Posted July 5, 2009 Posted July 5, 2009 How about this one then? I didn't take it obviously. What a great shot, you must be proud of that, and rightly so. Presumably you were landing somewhere to set-up your Slati-Hotplate hot-dog stall for the benefit of others. (What a kind man) Rgds Planey
slartibartfast Posted July 7, 2009 Posted July 7, 2009 Absolutely Planey. The monthly BBQ at Adaminaby. OK - that's it for June. I'll remind Angela and she will judge the winner. Sorry it's a bit late - I've been busy. Good luck all.

Ben Longden Posted July 11, 2009 Posted July 11, 2009 This shot was taken about 3/4 of the way through a barrel roll and yep, it's in the CT4...what a way to end the day. Did Kaz take the piccie? Ben
Philthy Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Did Kaz take the piccie?Ben Kaz might be filthy, I wouldn't like to say, but she's not Philthy!
Kaz Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Shhh Phil, I was going to take the credit. Little does Ben know I don't go upside down!
slartibartfast Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Matt Henderson in his natural element! I just picked up my copy of Pac flyer and found this shot on the cover! Way to go Philthy and Matt.
Matt Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Cool! Got the side of my head on a magazine cover...also a good advertisement for Bose and Oakley.
skydog Posted September 1, 2009 Posted September 1, 2009 Great result Just as I proudly predicted the winning photo of Matt by Philthy. Slarti How the heck do you post a full size image taking up the whole area like your last one of Matt on this thread???
Philthy Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Skydog, I upload the image to Photobucket (it's free to create an account). Photobucket gives you an http web address for the photo which you copy. When you create your post here, select the image icon at the top of the reply window and when the new window opens, paste in the web address of the image. Hey presto, there it is! A word of caution - you need to re-size your images before doing this! I use 800 pixels wide, which seems to fit the frame pretty well. Cheers, Philthy
slartibartfast Posted September 3, 2009 Posted September 3, 2009 Sorry Skydog, I forgot to answer that one. As Philthy says, but in most threads we prefer to use the "upload to this site and use the thumbnails" method because it is friendlier to those who are "bandwidth challenged" (PC enough?). I figure it's fair to make an exception in the photo comp threads though.
skydog Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Thanks Slart & Philth. I will try it when I get a decent picie to post.
skydog Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 Nah Didnt work pasting that picie Try again later
slartibartfast Posted September 4, 2009 Posted September 4, 2009 There you go. When you can see your full image in photobucket (in this case but could be anywhere), right click on it and select "copy image location". Then in your post click on the yellow mountain icon () and <ctrl>v (paste) the saved location into the box. Done.
skydog Posted September 5, 2009 Posted September 5, 2009 Thanks Thanks Slarti, Nice job you did posting my photo for me, looks good.
