Hi

 

I am the new boy in the air. Training at Somersby Airstrip in NSW. Just on 20 hours of instructional flying an ultralight trike and hope to one day get my own.

Hi and Len,

 

There are plenty of trike pilots on here, some very experienced, a huge bank of knowledge to draw on if you need it.

 

Have you been solo yet ?

Thanks for the reply. Have not done solo yet. Have really good instructor and when he thinks I'm ready I'll give iit a go. Not in any hurry. What do you fly? and where from?

Hi Len,

 

I started nearly 2 years ago but didn't log many hours in the first year because I had to travel 2.5 hrs to train and could only sneak away from the farm ocassionally. I have just over 40hrs now and I'm looking forward to getting a hangar built at home so I can take advantage of every flying opportunity. :thumb_up:

Yep training with Len and enjoying it. He's a great instructor and one day I may even go solo.

Had one lesson with Len ( gift voucher ) but undergoing training closer to home.

 

Interesting strip, nice friendly atmosphere, enjoyed my one visit and flight training there.
