Following is a copy of an email sent to Airservices Australia by Rod Spratt.

He is trying to get Airservices to provide VNC charts for the East coast of Queensland. If you remember when these VNC charts were first produced they were to cover the whole East coast, but they stop at Brisbane.

I consider the VNC to be a far better chart than the WAC and have talked to Airservices about us getting them several times.

It appears that they believe there is not enough demand for them, which in my opinion is rubbish.

If you believe we should have these charts, please drop Rod a line on his email address. He has a track record of getting things done and I would dearly like him to succeed here.

Old charts are not much good to me. I have a few which are only of historical interest, but I think we should not be treated as second class pilots, just because we don't fly in mexico.
