cubby123 Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 I just subscribed to the forum, hoping to find some interesting things to hel.p me with my projects.
Deskpilot Posted June 23, 2009 Posted June 23, 2009 Cubby, tell us more about 'your projects' Are you restoring that cubby of yours?
Guest Pop-top Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Hello and if so do you have a picture? I'm not familiar with Cubby's.
Guest Decca Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 And another welcome from Decca. You're not very far away Cub. The Deer Park bypass is a winner. I must have used it 1/2 doz times & it cuts a lot of time off getting to Moorabin (son lives nearby). Hope we hear more from you. Regards, Decca.
cubby123 Posted June 24, 2009 Author Posted June 24, 2009 Thanks for replying guys. I'm building a Cubby, which is a Piper Cub like replica just slightly smaller. Here are some pictures
winsor68 Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Very nice machine...and strangely in my eyes the nose wheel does not ruin the lines of her...still retains that special something with the nose on the front.
Guest Pop-top Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 Will your be trike like the white planes pictures or tail wheel like the yellow one? Yellow piper cubs have a very authentic appeal in my opinion
