Crescent Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Hi there, just dropping in. Presently undertaking PPL training, but seriously looking at doing the RAAus pilot certificate as an investment in skills, and the opportunity to undertake some flying that is affordable and flexible. Just doing some research at this stage and getting a feel for it all.
Thx1137 Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 G'day and welcome, It is hard to think of a reason not to do it!
Guest Decca Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 Welcome to the forums Crescent. Where is Kellyville Ridge please? Regards, Decca.
planedriver Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 Welcome to the forums Crescent.Where is Kellyville Ridge please? Regards, Decca. Just up the road from me, NW Sydney Decca, where the people are just soooooooo friendly. To be serious, 5 mins from the old Schofields aerodrome. BIG Cresent Tell the Misses you need to get on this site to advance one's knowledge base, and communicate with a couple of nuts in the process. In fact, if you put her on line, the boys and girls here will convince her that it's the only wise thing to do, and she might even pay for your flying Kind Regards Planey
Guest Decca Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 Thanks Planey, I thought the name had a nice ring to it. And that would be a couple of "old" nuts, right? Decca.
Tomo Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 And that would be a couple of "old" nuts, right? That's it! cause all us young blokes are...mmm...still green, nuts, I s'pose! Welcome along Crescent, Great to have you here... Have fun and Join in... (and as you see we all get on pretty well!)
planedriver Posted August 18, 2009 Posted August 18, 2009 That's it! cause all us young blokes are...mmm...still green, nuts, I s'pose! ) As Crescent would have realised by now, some of us, but not all of us, are honest about our age. Some nuts (pistasio's for example), tend to have a green tinge), but the the best nuts tend to have have a couple of wrinkles . .....mmm....Its a bit a bit like buying oats. If you want good quality oats, you have to pay a fair price. However, if you are prepared to accept oats that have already been through the horse, even if they're greener, they come a bit cheaper. Sorry Tomo, no disrespect intended mate, I could'nt resist the temptation of what came into my wicked mind;) Kind Regards Planey
