Did a few years in gliding, but now want to go places, so have started RAA training at Gympie YGYM flying Sportstars. Would like to buy an aircraft before too long, something that will carry 2 and camping gear and do dome serious travelling.

 

No doubt there is the perfect aircraft for this, so would like to hear what it is.

Haven't got that far myself yet either, though I have thoughts about it.

 

Just want to add my welcome to the friendly forums. There are plenty owner/flyers who travel great distances often & have their own accomodation style worked out to advise you.

Many thanks for the welcomes, there are afew Jabs at Gympie so I will have to beg aride in one to see what it's like. You here varied opinions, but getting to know a few owners is the only way. I hope to start doing my Navs before long, so I might drop in to Boonah and say Hullo.
