Admin Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 Whilst I was doing the news this morning I came across a story about an interesting aircraft: You can read more about it in the News section under the title Ellipse Wings:
Guest ozzie Posted September 10, 2009 Posted September 10, 2009 well that's one way of eliminating wingtip vortices
Tomo Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 Cool! Check this out!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YRK5fmRg5rM" And Check out young fella's Rc discussion about it.
dazza 38 Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 i guess the wing could also be used as a roll over cage. HA ha
cherk Posted September 11, 2009 Posted September 11, 2009 i guess the wing could also be used as a roll over cage. HA ha Or, roll-over , and over and.....
facthunter Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Crazy. Too much of a mutant. Shoot it before it breeds. As far as wingtip problems go, you would have to be worse off. Going from reduced pressure to positive pressure in a short distance, on the one surface. ANYTHING will fly, but how well? Nev..
Skykid Posted September 12, 2009 Posted September 12, 2009 Huh.... Would be cool to see how it flys.. Haha it reminds me of this quote "If it’s ugly, it’s British; if it’s weird, it’s French; and if it’s ugly and weird, it’s Russian"
