That cold weather is partly why I left, seemed to rain 300 days a year! I was a house painter back then and it took a great deal of planning to work jobs around the climate.

Yeah, would be interesting to know... Mirror, Magnifying glass in the sun!!?? For it to be electrical, something would have to be left on, Hey?

May have left master on? or somebody may have wired something outside the master circuit which should not be done but as with everything it can happen.

 

Or even a pair of eye glasses in the right spot could act as a heat source in certain conditions.

 

The southern highlands although a cold place gets people unprepared as you get freaky very hot days and it can catch you out with your practices.

 

Or a good old fashion wire rub through! I am sure it will be revealed.

Do we know who owned it? I know one of the chaps that is associated with that club from when I lived there but have not seen him for 20 years! hope it was not Tony's he is a really nice bloke.
