My husband and I are going to Oahu in October. We are from Texas. He used to skydive quite a bit, and I thought he'd enjoy the tryke experience I read about in Oahu Revealed. I joined to forum hoping to learn more. This will be a new experience for us, but it sounds like a great adventure! Any suggestions or information resources for newbies would be appreciated.

Hi pstern, Welcome to the site, you'll find all the info you want right here. I have visited Texas a few years back, and I don't mind a bit of ZZ Top either. We are all buzzing here in Townsville North Queensland at the moment, as the USAF Thunderbirds should be arriving here any day for their only show in Australia this weekend. I've also done a heap of skydiving in the past and quite a bit in the US also. A couple of our Trike pilots here are also skydivers on the side. I've had the pleasure of taking a lot of people for their first flight in a trike and 99% of them absolutely love it so I'm sure your hubby will.

 

IIRC the guys in Oahu fly the same Airborne trikes as many of us here in Australia so no worries there - very capable & safe machines.
