Hi all,

 

Im a bit of a newbie to this site. Just wanted to say hi and let you know a little bit about myself. My name is David, im from Brisbane and I have only just recently decided to work towards getting my PPL. I have since been reading the available textbooks and finding out as much information as i can. I would like to go for a CPL in the future and persue a possible career from that but at this current stage Im aiming just for a private pilots licence.

 

If anyone has any advice or willing to share personal experience feel free to say hello and share.

G'day Dave. Welcome to the site. There is certainly a lot of study involved but the flying makes up for it :-)

 

I might start aiming for a PPL myself at some point because it would be good to be able to take more than one PAX but I probably wont until I am happy with how I fly the little machines first. For me it is just for fun. :-)

Sounds like you have a future well mapped out, and paced one step at a time.

 

There are plenty of members here who have achieved what you aim to, & I'm sure they'll chip in when you need them. Don't hesitate to ask.
