I flew in to Dalby yesterday after a few days interstate and was pleasantly surprised with the amount of activity that was happening. In the circuit area there was a couple hang gliders, several gliders in the air launched from Jondaryn, a couple of dragonflys and drifters, Cessna, Piper and Cirrus. We all worked together in sorting out who was doing what and it was a pleasure to be part it.

Yes I agree, I have intended for some time now to write a post saying just how good things are at the present. I mean just look at our aircraft choice these days, compared to 15 years ago....and we now have reliable engines !!!.......(if people leave them alone !!)....On a recent ferry Casino - Townsville early on a Monday morning all I could hear on the radio was RAA aircraft traffic, both private and training, from Dalby, Watts Bridge, Chinchilla, Warrick, Emerald etc etc.....and it was most encouraging..............
