Adding gauges. Changing views, and more.

Folks,

 

I'm a bit stuck.

 

FS2004/9

 

Some gagues come in CAB files and are to be used from there.

 

What is the syntax to point to a gauge which is not in the default gauges directory?

 

I shall try tonight - timer permitting - to move the CAB file to the main gauge directory and see if the plane which uses it still works. Then try the new one which I want to use one of the gauges in there.

 

Make sence?

 

Anyway, could someone help?

 

I am also wanting to change the settings in the Virtual cockpit of a plane.

 

The view size, position etc.

 

When I muck about with what I have learnt, it doesn't change the cabin view, it changes the zoom of the outside stuff.

 

Thing is that some planes when you go Virtual cockpit, you are nearly sitting on the front pannel. Not really realistic.

 

I want the zoom to be a bit less, and the eye position to be a bit further back.

 

I've found some of the settings, but not all.

 

A full break down of the files would be really appreciated.
