Tomo Posted November 18, 2009 Posted November 18, 2009 Not aviation, but my brother saw this and got me interested in it! Check out the video's, just awesome pieces of workmanship and skill to do something like that, not to mention the correct number of teeth on the gears to give the correct time! TimeShapes
Guest Maj Millard Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Just can't understand why your brother would be interested in that Tomo ??...................
Tomo Posted November 19, 2009 Author Posted November 19, 2009 He was interested in it for me more than anything... I do quite a bit of wood crafty stuff myself that is why. One rainy day I might try and make one of those clocks myself I'm a thinking...
stanzahero Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Some one with 'too much time on their hands'? Stanzahero
Tomo Posted November 19, 2009 Author Posted November 19, 2009 Some one with 'too much time on their hands'? Yes indeed! I wish that was the case nowadays with me too! I used to make stacks of stuff, I don't think I've even turned on my lathe's for 5 months! Though I have nearly finished a clock (not like those ones above!) for a friend for a wedding present I think!
Deskpilot Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Specially for Tomo For Tomo and anyone else who appreciates the use of wood. Not flying perhaps, but definitety low and slow.
Tomo Posted November 20, 2009 Author Posted November 20, 2009 That is so cool, Thanks Doug!
