Paul Turner Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Notice of 2009 Annual General Meeting AGENDA 1. Opening of the meeting, receipt of apologies and proxies. 2. Minutes of last Annual General Meeting. 3. Business arising out of the Minutes of the last Annual General Meeting 4. Presentation of the Annual Reports by the President, Secretary and Treasurer. 5. Business arising from Annual Reports and Questions from the floor. 6. Any Motions on Notice. 7. Declaration of the result of the Board Elections. 8. Close of the Annual General Meeting. Ian, Thanks for putting this notice here but it would be great if RAAus published a more complete agenda for each of it's meetings, including the AGM. "Business arising..." doesn't give us a lot of idea about what will be discussed. For the interest of transparancy, can we get the Board to list that actual items to be discussed; this would give all members the maximum opportunity to contibute to the discussion prior to decisions being made. Also, has the board considered web-casting the AGM (via this site or their own website)? Regards, Paul
Admin Posted November 19, 2009 Author Posted November 19, 2009 No CEO yet - do you want to apply Maj  Web casting the AGM is a great idea...will look into that for next year. This site is all set up to do it however I didn't bring my web cam with me but Ross (Slartibartfast) and I are getting together this evening for a drink so I will see what can be done quickly for tomorrow but no promises - would have to get board approval etc I guess
Guest Maj Millard Posted November 19, 2009 Posted November 19, 2009 Ian, The last one was from Townsville, I don't think they want another one from the same place !! Besides me and the 'dept' don't get along, it would not work, I can't deal with dickheads !. What about Middo ?.....
Yenn Posted November 20, 2009 Posted November 20, 2009 The aganda for n AGM is practically a set piece and normal business is not attended to. What is of interest is the agenda for the normal meetings.
Admin Posted November 20, 2009 Author Posted November 20, 2009 Unfortunately unable to broadcast the AGM as it would be an administrative nightmare as it is only open to RAAus members
