Spin Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 I reckon there is a lot to be said for that one Yenn! That said, I took my 9yo son up yesterday, my first passenger for many years since giving up GA flying - a very rewarding experience! My approach to the briefing has remained consistent though and is something I also use when taking inexperienced sailors out on the boat - give them the absolute basics to start with and then feed them further bite size chunks as and when appropriate so that they know what to expect. eg, "I am going to turn left now, you might feel.... etc" Bit fuzzy, but the smile must mean I did something right!
dazza 38 Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 HI carl, whats the strip like, is it wet, happy new year mate.
Spin Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 Thanks Dexter. dazza, I don't think they have had as much rain out at Boonah, as on the coast, the strip was firm and even offered reasonable traction, no sign of skidding when I braked to turn off early. Thanks for the good wishes, likewise from this end. Cheers Carl
