New forum loads quicker

Hi Ian,

 

I've gotta tell you that due to whatever changes to format or programming, all the pages on the new forum download far quicker than previously. I don't know if it is noticable with people who have broadband, but for those of us who are still on dial-up (hopefully not for too much longer) it is important.

 

The change from one page to another is almost instantaneous, it makes visiting this forum even more pleasant than what is was previously (if that's at all possible, probably not).

Thanks Guys - every page was rewritten from scratch with the code completely streamlined for fast loading - that's what took a lot of the development time - plus the use of thumbnails has dramatically helped the loading times.
