Admin Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Hi All I know that we can sometimes get carried away with trying to make a point but can we hold off on the undesirable language a bit...please. One thing the survey said was that the site was a very "clean" site which attracted them to it however lately the language has been creeping in especially with attempts of disguise to beat the language filters. slartibartfast Posted December 31, 2009 Posted December 31, 2009 Timing Ian. I was about to start the new year with this request. Deliberately misspelling or obfuscating a word to beat the auto censor only makes Ian or myself have to do it manually, and I'm sick of it. Let's practise safe expletive-free communication. And stop the .
turboplanner Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 And stop the . I know the word you mean Slarti, and I'd never use that word in pilote company.
facthunter Posted January 1, 2010 Posted January 1, 2010 "Norty words" I am guilty here (shame). I truly thought that the words that get past the mechanics of the system were no more offensive or obvious than the blot out words (cause we all know what those words mean ( More shame)) and I have to admit that even though it was a hot night last night my wife and I both had sheets on the bed, and if this thread continuies for too long , we will be having another of Slarti's mass debates. Deal with him, Ian, No not HIM, HIM. Have a good year folks. Nev..
