kane Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Hi There, For some years i have been procrastinating about spending the time and getting a pilots license to fly the skies in my free time. Well the time is almost here, i have some spare funds to use but now i just need to find the time! Looking forward to joining you all with this fantastic way of spending time. I live in Sydney City and joined the forum mainly to hear about your experiences and get some advice on where to start. Thanks Kane
Guest Qwerty Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Welcome Kane, its always good to see new people learning to fly.
Tracktop Posted January 2, 2010 Posted January 2, 2010 Hi Kane It's gets pretty addictive once you start so time becomes less of an issue you tend to make time. Airborne Upper Hunter is a pretty good place to start - see schools section here for the and others
AV8A Posted January 4, 2010 Posted January 4, 2010 I am only new myself, but welcome! Its challenging, is great fun and its addictive! Once you start - you can't stop. You might take a 10 year holiday 1 hour from solo! But you know you'll back! ;)
