Hey,

I'm not sure whether anyone heard about the crash near Scott River in WA, Tecnam Sierra P2002 24-5550 went down on a nav from Bunbury to Narrogin. The Tecnam belonged to a private owner I think and Bunbury Aero Club had an agreement with him to lease it to their club members. 53 year old pilot was found 2-3 days later with spinal injuries and was airlifted to hospital (poor bloke). Does anyone else know about any other Tecnams used in WA for training? It's an aircraft that I've always wanted to fly and hopefully will once I've completed my RAAus training, it's just that Bunbury was 1.5 hours out of Perth when my current RAAus school is about 50 minutes.

Thanks,

Andrew

Hi,

Yes I looked on their website recently, I'm really after the P2002 though.

Thanks for the info though. Much appreciated

Hey Wangaratta,

Good luck with your saving, make sure you get into the theory (BAK, Air Legislation, Radio & Cross Country) Also you should apply for the RA-Aus GYFTS scholarship to help you pay.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks,

Andrew
