Icon Aircraft

 

That has to be one of the coolest aircraft around I reckon... check out the interior! And the video's... great work to those who have come up with it. Was told about it from a young fella at Evans Head who's Dad has put an order in for it... but a waiting list for a few yrs...!

I've been looking at some of these amphips for a while now, so it will be interesting to see if the icon gets past the conceptial stage (even with orders), Both the Mermaid and the glass goose got to production, but it's taking a while to go that next step and get the delivery schedule sorted.i_dunno

I looked at it at oshkosh last year. Its a nice concept it would be good to see it get off the "water" I'm not a big fan of folding wings on something like that but it does make it a bit easier to store.

It is a nice looking machine, checked it out a while back, but apparently it is going to be real expensive.Wing folding i think is going to be the future for alot of designs for ease of storage. Cheers
