This "2/02/10 - aircraft notice for Gazelle"

Hi.

 

Don't take it as me having a go at anyone here, but just a story about that notice.

 

It is about 15 years old.

 

I just spoke to the person who actually had it fail on them and was maybe part of the people who instigated it.

 

Ummmmm....... How is it "NEW"?

 

RAA: Wouldn't it be better if every month in the RAA Mag, there was a page of actual NEW notices for planes, so if you owned an "XYZ" plane you would go to the RAA site and look for what needs actioning?

 

Otherwise HOW are people supposed to stay across any new notices unless they are 24/7 on a site like this looking?

The notice was released as an "official" RAAus notice yesterday so maybe it has occurred again to warrant a re-release

FD - what I do with the RAA airworthiness site is get it to send me an email each time it changes.

 

There's a place down the bottom of the page on the RAAus site to put in your email address for the reminders - suspect that's how Ian keeps up as well!
