kaz3g Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Yep... 11 hours difference between UTC and AEDST is how i remember it kaz
flying dog Posted February 16, 2010 Posted February 16, 2010 Yeah, but there is a BIG difference between SUNSET and END OF DAYLIGHT. BIG! And I am still preplexed about certain things to do with "EOD"/"SOD" and SS/SR times. I err on the cautious side and use Sunrise/set times myself.

Ultralights Posted February 18, 2010 Posted February 18, 2010 30 Mins of Twilight sounds pretty right to me in summer. Dont forget for planning purposes you use Published Last light times. and aim to be on the ground or at lest in the circuit at 15 mins before posted last light. I personally love flying the last hour before last light, as you see a sunset from the air, and all the city lights in all their glory, air is usually as smooth as silk, no other traffic, (except bank runners at bankstown) and legally Day VFR. brilliant flying time! 1
