Guest drizzt1978 Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 Ok, very very simple question, Does the syndicate work for you, Is six members to many? Is four better? And opportunity has presented itself to me...and i must consider. I fly an hour a week, (or more) but I hate the "Must be back by 4pm etc etc, really puts stress on a NAV? Would like some time up my sleeve and not have to worry about a flying school wanting it back by a certain time, And with a syndicate system you have the other people to answer to! Not the office?? So are you happy! Have you heard good things or bad!
Thx1137 Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 There is 7 in the one I am in. It is great. I like to fly 2 or 3 hours most weekends and pay _way_ less than hiring! The time flexibility is great too. It would obviously depend on the people you are with but it is great for me. :-) Some of the guys only fly weekdays which means we don't all compete for the weekend. Steven.
Thx1137 Posted February 19, 2010 Posted February 19, 2010 yes, they can work.Every member needs to know the rules about booking and using the aircraft and the distribution of costs. For a start I would say that the aircraft is always left with a full tank (paid for by the last user) Rules, absolutely. Fuel, not in my plane :-) One pax and we would be overweight. We use a fuel card so fuel comes out of our monthly bill which is based on a set sum per hour.
