David F Posted March 2, 2010 Posted March 2, 2010 I have noticed that the fuel tank filler caps do not seal properly and can leak when it is rough weather.I read somewhere in a thread that the standard rubber was too thin and that someone had replaced them. What type and thickness of rubber should I use for this? Any help much appreciated. Dave
rankamateur Posted March 7, 2010 Posted March 7, 2010 Use Viton not rubber or you may well contaminate your fuel! I have said more in my PM, good luck David
rankamateur Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 Fuel Tank Sealing Washers The washers you need are available at Accessories I will disclose that I am assosciated with Aerokits, that being said have a look anyway.
