Big Job.

I would find the proposition somewhat daunting. Carbon fibre is a bit dangerous to your health and to design AND build is an enormous job. SAAA build a lot of different aircraft (even jets) but some of those guys have spent a lifetime in the industry. There are some kits out there that use carbon fibre and it does permit a high performance aircraft as it is no doubt the lightest and strongest material, available but to get a quality controlled and reliable product would be beyond the "homebuilt" concept, I feel. Consult with the experts before starting this project. I know several people whose health has been seriously damaged as a result ot working with the chemicals that are associated with this material. Nev.
