Hello all, Looking at completing my PPL training I started back in 2001. I finished with 22hrs general and over 1hr solo. I’m back studying and looking forward to finishing what I started so long ago. So glad I found this web site as I really enjoy reading everyone’s story and lots of great tips.

G'day Jason, welcome along.

Great to hear you getting back into it, amazing how so many people give it up just after there solo, It seems like it's a common thing that happens.

Anyway, this place is very good, friendly people, and you can ask any question, that'll be answered one way or another.

Safe and happy flying.

Too far, have to wait until the dry season when the roads open. I drive out and do me big quarterly meat order, hopefully get some flying done while I'm down there.

cheers

Have you been to Mundoo airfield yet, great strip and has to be one of the best training areas in the country...dunk island is also within the training area...

Yes I have, did all my training with Bob Harris back in 2001. I was doing it full time, staying on site. Due to work commitments I had to move to Gladstone (BSL) half way through. I'm done in Townsville in June for our second child and looking at heading up to Innisfail to get some more hr up. Spoke to Bob about a week ago and records are still on site. Bring it on.
