Hi everyone, Im Rex and just joined up on your forum and looking forward to chatting with you guys.....

 

Looking at building a Corby Starlet so anyone with info would be great to hear from....

 

Also been checking out types of timber one can use...Spruce, Hoop pine, Oregon, Queensland Maple, Bollywood and even Mountain Ash has been used for aircraft amoung others....any input? Apart from the wieght problem....

 

Anyway nice to be here and thanks to Ian for the welcome.....

Hello Rex, welcome to our forums.

 

You should get plenty of help here. I know of one with an 80hp jabiru engine. It goes like a missile out of a shangai! Is there a 2-seater version of the starlet? Wishful thinking I think!

Thanks for your reply, no two seater that I know of...come on Mr Corby....

 

I have heard there is an Ally version almost ready to fly in Oz and one flying in New Zitland but havent seen it yet....that might be an option
