AC 43.13-1B and AC 43.13-2B are current in 2023. This handbook for Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMTs), repair stations, aircraft owners and homebuilders details the standards for acceptable methods, techniques, and practices for the inspection, repair, and alteration of aircraft. The Rotorcraft Flying Handbook is designed as a technical manual for applicants who are preparing for their private, commercial, or flight instructor pilot certificates with a helicopter or gyroplane class rating. This handbook conforms to pilot training and certification concepts established by the FAA. There are different ways of teaching, as well as performing flight procedures and maneuvers, and many variations in the explanations of aerodynamic theories and principles. This handbook adopts a selective method and concept to flying helicopters and gyroplanes. The discussion and explanations reflect the most commonly used practices and principles. Occasionally, the word "must" or similar language is used where the desired action is deemed critical. The use of such language is not intended to add to, interpret, or relieve a duty imposed by Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR). This handbook is divided into two parts. Secondly we are talking the PC view (not phone view) and currently there is a menu bar on the left which I created for the site many years ago, I think others are just starting to catch on that it is a better navigation method Are you not seeing that menu bar on a PC screen?

The deliveries are coming thick and fast with new products and new stock arriving. Corrine and I are dedicated to bring the Clear Prop Shop back into the glory days, even discounted aircraft instruments are coming back into stock. Just now we have had a delivery of Pilot Cases which will end up the cheapest you would have ever seen and yes they are NOT the 2 wheel versions but 4 wheels, compartments for everything yo need from maps, books, clothes, tablet, phone etc. Obviously not for the casual aviator but we have them covered as well with a hugely increased variety of pilot bags.

After many years of creating and maintaining a website for recreational aviators in a way that everyone has come accustomed to here on Recreational Flying, this site has been going for over 22 years for you now, it is really showing its age and thus we are missing out on many incredible advantages that current technology provides. To put it bluntly, the site has become a dinosaur and we all know what happened to them. The aviation industry is an ever evolving progressive industry the same as technology with different ways of doing things visually on mobile phones, tablets and PCs. This year, 2024, will see this site evolve into a user interface that is, in my terms "Exciting" but I know a lot of users may make statements like "it ain't broke" or "why change" etc but this site needs to cater to the younger generation as well if we are to entice users away from Social media and into something that is more comprehensive and in a format they are more familiar with. After all, this site was created to keep aviators alive by the exchange of experiences to help each other learn, to improve our aircraft maintenance knowledge by having aviators who may have done that before and to have higher experienced aviators for less experienced ones to have mentors that they can get advise from in their flying skills. So, I would like to introduce you to some videos of the way the site may be going for your comment. nothing is locked in as the site now has been extensively changed from its core software anyway which I can also do again based on your comments. Update: I am going to stick with the tried and proven Recreational Flying 250 Headset. These have been a great headset of the last 12 or so years with very little parts needed over that time which is why they seem to have a great reputation. But also some more news...Clear Prop is now going to stock the David Clark range of headsets AND AND AND and new emerging brand of both Passive and ANR headsets plus an enormous range of cables, adaptors, plugs, leads, headset parts etc to meet all your communication needs from the brand Aircraft Pilots.. Rebuilding the Clear Prop Shop is a massive task with thousands of products, each one being entered into the software, obtaining a bigger range of stock, sourcing new products etc but it is coming together nicely and hopefully it will go live in the next week or so...stay tuned
