Thanks Guys for the great support. At the moment it looks as though Channel 31 will be closing shop by end of June, however, we've had a bit of interest to air the show on Foxtel and last week channel 9 Gem agreed to see a synopsis and a pilot of the show, the beauty of these channels is that the show will go to air all over Australia which is good given we have received numerous requests from various people wanting to see the show specially in Queensland and NSW. We have several stories that we cannot show unfortunately, two of my favorites are one where an older chap has a large parcel of land where WW2 spitfire training used to take place and after a relatively minor accident, the plane was left on site buried, we went over there and found it with a metal detector although the land owner believes they took most (if not all) the major parts, but we cannot disclose the location or the person. The other one is where someone's great aunt has several original spitfire plans that were released to the workers when the assembly line closed down in England, again we cannot get to the person even though I've seen the prints (in photo form) for fear of having to return them even though they were told at the time to take them.
Neil, it's great to hear from you, I haven't forgotten that you have a Savannah that i'd like to see, and "road test", I recently contacted Reg Brost to get a story but it seems he is or will no longer be the Savannah rep. Any news on that?
Anyway, if anyone has a story of interest, please let me know although we've had a few offers to attend some rare and beautiful aircraft releases in England and USA from enthusiasts that watch our show on catch up TV (I think) I would like to cover more stories here in OZ first.
