'Sport Pilot' for sporty types such as pylon racing and aerobatics. (expensive aircraft). 'Recreational Flying' for recreational flyers. We've had all the arguments for and against but I still believe it could have had some bearing, just my two bobs worth. Alan.
  10. Intercom announcement prior to take off. This is a recorded message, your aircraft is one of the most modern ever built, it is completely automatic and therefore requires no pilot. Do not be concerned as absolutely nothing can go wrong, can go wrong, can go wrong, can go wrong...........

My callsign on my Cessna 150 was VH-OUI which I selected myself. Oui in French is pronounced Wee but means yes however my choice was because I said 'yes' to my purchase, I was unable to get the letters I really wanted. I later regretted my choice as it is difficult to say 'Oscar, uniform, india' and was often misunderstood.' Come to thing about it, I am often misunderstood on this forum. Alan.

  17. They do, as can be shown from my avatar which is not photo shopped. This photo was taken on short final approach at Guernsey Airport flying over the Guernsey Dairy. As you know Guernsey milk produces the worlds best butter so these cows were affectionately called the Guernsey Cow Butterflyers and their messages were only dropped at ground level. Alan.
