Congratulations on your purchase. I know you have only just made your purchase, but I would be interested in any early observations regarding the flying characteristics of your Allegro. I might be in an opportunity to fly at 2000 (build date 2004) on the weekend. I had a look through the aircraft today with my wife and it looks the part on the ground. My flying background is in a Jabiru UL/D which seems to have a similar flight envelope (90kts cruise, with sufficient payload for two, full fuel and some baggage).
My flying would be from Temora then an arc from Snowy Mountains, to Southern Riverina, north to Tamworth. Longer trips would include Sunshine Coast, South Australia, other trips as opportunity presents. The aircraft I'm looking at has a 912 (80hp) with the standard (55l) tank. Has a GPS and transponder which may provide the chance to fly into controlled airspace with appropriate license etc.
Any comments would be appreciated.
