  1. RAAus is an Approved Self-Administering Aviation Organisation (ASAO) formed under Part 149 of the Civil Aviation Safety Regulations and ultimately answerable to the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA). this line is out of the coroners report
  2. casa oversee everything raaus do. i have been told that several times by raaus staff.
  3. Looks neat. I really don't think you would notice any difference though. Every plane I have had just pulls the fuel through the pump when it is off.
  4. Yes. What I said about part 103 is because casa have wanted it for years. Raaus have always been against it. I think there definitely changes coming. Just have to wait and see what form they take.
  5. It said only open to l2s and l4 maintainers so I assumed I don't qualify. But as blue said I can ask.
  6. That's the only photo I had on my phone I think that's when he moved it from his house to his hangar. Only a couple of km. Not saying milk crates are bad though.😁
  7. I didn't trailer it. And that is not how it was trailered there.
  8. Hope I didn't offend U nev. Saying ex teacher. I should have said retired. A teacher is always a teacher. Retired or not.
  9. I would like to do that course to buy it's only open to l2s and l4 I think.
  10. Just surprised to see an ex teacher saying that.
  11. We actually folded the wings to make room in the hangar. That's all. If I had one I would make up a trolley with castors to march the tail height with the nose wheel on the ground . It gets heavy when you swing a wing back and the tail drops. It's on light aircraft sales if anyone is looking for an immaculate gazelle. It was trailered home but had all the supports required and was fine.
  12. you would knock the wings off if you trailer it with that idea 😁

  18. yes. i would agree with you if he ran into bad weather but to take off in it is a bad idea. even myself having very little experience can still figure that out.
  19. we have a corrupt bunch of criminals running this state. i would rather them 2 than than jacinta i think.
  20. i love the how the ailerons turn vertical as you fold the wings . very well thought out.
  21. i thought skippy would love victoria. lots of bunnings and mitre 10 shops to get all the parts he puts in his sonex.😁
  22. i am selling one for a friend and that has some ads signed off in the logbook. there is one for a crossmember ,i think it is where the uc mounts. there is another for aileron hangers which is an inspection. pretty sure if they are good you don't have to replace them.
