they were talking about the shocking{no pun intended} resale value of evs yesterday. so bad that many car dealers will not trade them, i think a lot of the problem is the fear of the battery pack failing puts people off used vehicles.
Wish I had deep pockets. That's why I fly rag and tube. Even that is expensive when you add up all the costs. Just payed my raas membership this week. That along with rego is nearly 600. 50 lts if fuel for a mornings flying is over 100 for avgas and the thousands on training. You have to do the full $10000 training even if you only want to fly around the airfield at 50 knts. RC models are looking good again. Those new cameras you would think you were in the cockpit anyway.
Rant over.
if your talking about my blank post, its probably the smartest thing i have said for a while.
i was trying to post a link to a story about another flying car but it wouldn't work .
that jabiru had skylights above the pilot which i hadn't seen on other jabs, but who would look up climbing out . straight ahead and scanning side to side is the normal thing isn't it.
its not hard to miss a call . did the cessna call inbound when the other pilot was on awis channell or preoccupied with something else. did everyone make all the calls.
100 % true and documented. the instructor is also a lame and he was able to do it because of something to do with having a type certificate . its a casa rule that raa comply with.
tecnam p92.
Raaus aircraft with a type certificate can run on condition in a flying school. I have seen it first hand. 912 was changed out at 3600 hrs and it was still passing all checks then. The owner told me he was able to do it because it was type certified. Very confusing.
